After filing the report this morning, I shot down to the point to join the 30 or so folks jostling for a wave. Conditions were clean, although the dropping tide was making it a wee bit crunchy. Set wave faces ranged from waist to overhead plus. It was reasonably consistent, but not enough to ensure everyone got waves. I had a very small score myself, but at least the first wave I caught (see below) was a very fun one.
The beach break and low tide were not a good combination. Very, very few were makeable beyond the first turn. Mostly it was just an endless succession of thumping shutdowns. We desperately need some peaks!
