Surf outlook for Sydney: Seven day forecast
Well the torrential rain that suddenly drenched the Northern Beaches today after a brilliant sunny morning has mostly passed on its merry way…and the Bureau expects the weather to improve for the weekend.
Surf was small early today but provided some fun for the grommets before the southerly hit …(waves looked a lot like Don’s beach break pics from Rincon – but with warmer water 🙂 No doubt the kids hope they’ll be spending more time out there on waves during the school holidays (see below kids) …… Only had a swim/bodysurf myself, but managed to catch a few small body waves for a bit of fun… be as one with nature… and feel Alive !!! 🙂
Surf outlook for the coming week, despite a slight uptick for tomorrow (Friday) looks like being pretty small .. but there should still be little waves at places that like dead South swell, for the kids and the old ffff…ellers (like me).
Solid long period swell is on its way to the Indonesian surf spots, Margaret River, SA spots, and Bells… but you don’t want to know that – unless you’re going there of course – in which case I don’t want to know! For everyone else: Just enjoy what you’ve got here… and Be Immensely Happy :)..
Friday: up a little from the South, say 1-2 metres
Saturday, Sunday: easing back to around 1 metre or so dead South
Monday: up a tickle.. ever so slight
Tuesday, Wednesday: down a little
Thursday: up somewhat…but still dead South so curtail your expectations
Friday: down slightly 1-2 metre range dead South places
Water temp is just a smidgen under 20, to refresh you.
