Back to very small

Hello Friends,

Our swell event is just about done and dusted. At 0600 the MHL buoy was picking up a metre of 9-second SE swell. This was too small for the point at Dee Why which after a couple of days with crowds in the 20-30 range, is now empty.
There is a very small line coming in still and as the picture below shows, I did see at least a person in the water up toward No Mans. Looks like knee to waist would be a reasonable hope. Tide was high around 0710 and will now be dropping to a low at 1250.

This morning’s run of the swell models doesn’t offer much joy for surf prospects across the next 4-5 days. It looks like we’re in for tiny south wind bump until Tue-Wed next week when there just might be a long period south pulse coming into view for the back half of the week.

Weather looks nice for today though. So there is that!

Have a great day one and all.
