Hello Friends,
At 0500 the MHL buoy was showing 1.6 metres of 12-sec SSE swell. But there was nothing like that level of energy at Dee Why. Tide was right on high when I checked it at 0730. So that wasn’t helping. It was relatively smooth, but I couldn’t see anyone in the water.
Have to run, so will come back later with thoughts on the outlook.
Weather Situation
A strong high lies over the Tasman Sea, establishing northeasterly winds along the New South Wales coast. A trough is expected to bring a southerly change to the southern half of the coast today, before stalling in northern parts during Thursday.

- Northeasterly 1 to 1.5 metres, tending easterly below 1 metre during the morning.
