Wow! A little wave gets caught at the point before 0700

Hello Friends,

Yesterday’s little perk in the swell was still in evidence as Monday got started at Dee Why. The MhL buoy was showing 1.4 metres of 10 sec SSE swell and as the picture confirms this was producing the occasional knee to waist high slider at the point and the beach. Wind was light offshore under cloudless skies. Tide’s heading to high at 1035.
The swell energy’s expected to fade this morning and be pretty marginal, if not flat by tomorrow afternoon. Wednesday’s shaping to be unsurfably tiny and Thursday not much better. But various of the models are showing the possibility of some little NE wind swellfor Friday…
Have a great Monday everyone!
