Marginal conditions at Dee Why this morning

dy point
Very small but not qutie flat at 0700

Hello Friends,

Just a hint of swell this morning at Dee Why. As expected yesterday’s residual swell energy has dropped down another notch and as of 0700 when I grabbed the picture, it was ankle to knee with maybe the odd waist bump. Surface conditions were nice and smooth under gloomy grey skies. Tide is high at 1135 and it already looked pretty fat.
Weather call is for rain later too.
Outlook is for similar marginal conditions tomorrow, but the models are still projecting a quick pulse from the south on Friday. If they have it right, we could be looking at shoulder to head and a bit at the magnets. Wind’s set to be going pretty hard from the SW. It looks like it’ll be best Friday morning and then it’s expected to drop into the metre range again on Saturday as we head back to marginal again on Sunday.
Have a great day and get up to some good where you can!
