Hello Friends,

In line with expectations, the surf has faded out to just about nothing this morning. Dee Why is in the ankle to knee high range along the beach under beautiful sunny skies. As of 0730 there was a light north breeze and we were heading to a high tide at 0900.
The day’s going to warm up to 30 later as the wind picks up from the NW. Sadly, there’s no prospect of an improvement to surf conditions
The wind’s predicted to be going pretty hard from the north again tomorrow amd there could be a shower or two. It’s possible that all the wind will produce some local NE windswell waves into the surfable range (waist plus).
Have yourself a terrific day and keep on smilin’!

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the northwestern Tasman Sea will slowly drift east as a cold front approaches New South Wales from the west. This pattern will generate fresh to strong northerly winds over New South Wales waters for the next day or two, before a south to southwesterly change during Monday in association with the front. Winds will briefly shift northeast to northwesterly again on Tuesday ahead of second front due to arrive late Tuesday or Wednesday.
