Fat, full and tiny on Monday morning

Tiny NE windswell making a feeble effort at 0700

Hello Friends,

Steady NNW wind as the day got started under high overcast. Tide was coming into the high at 0945 and there were a few rain drops in the breeze when I climbed aloft for the first picture of the day. The point and kiddies were showing a too-small to surf NE windswell. The MHL data from 0400 was showing a metre at 6 seconds apart. Magnet spots might be just getting into the catchable range, but it looks like Dee Why’s not on the list.
This morning’s run of the prediction models doesn’t offer us a great deal of hope for the next couple days. Beyond that there seems to be some hope for a little something at NE spots on Friday-Saturday… maybe!
So have yourself a good Monday everyone and stay happy!

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the northwestern Tasman Sea will slowly drift east as a cold front approaches New South Wales from the west. This pattern will generate strong northerly winds over New South Wales waters ahead of a south to southwesterly change that will move up the coast today in association with the front. Winds will briefly shift northeast to northwesterly again on Tuesday ahead of second front due to arrive late Tuesday or Wednesday.
