Lone searcher hunts bumps at No Mans

Hello Friends,
The wind was chilly early but we’re headed to a high of 27 later. At 0700 the wind was offshore and the most recent MHL data was showing a metre of 8-second south swell. So, there might be something up the beach at Long Reef, but as far as the Dee Why to No Mans stretch it was looking knee high at best along the beach. Tide’s high at 1030, so that’s a factor as well.
If you found waves somewhere yesterday, I’d start my looking there this morning. Given the settings, the biggest sets at the best spots will probably be around the knee high mark. So, not utterly flat, but pretty small.
The forecast models are generally agreeing that the next three days will be tiny to flat most places, but there might be a bump up for Friday (according to some).
The weekend currently looks like being dominated by south wind and some short period south swell. It’s nice to see some hopeful predictions for early next week in the long range models. If the most optimistic of them turns out to be right, we could see shoulder plus at SE magnets Monday-Tuesday morning… here’s hoping!
Have yourself a great Tuesday everyone!
