Hello Friends,

Well, I didn’t expect to see anything in the surfable range this morning so I was happily surprised to find there were waist plus wave faces showing along the beach north from Dee Why and knee to maybe waist at the point on the sets. It’s a beautiful sunny morning with a high tide at 1030 and only faint offshores early.
According to the MHL data, swell was 1.4 metres from the SE at 9 seconds apart. Wind should stay west to SW until this afternoon when the sea breeze will come around to the east to NE. Looks like a morning to slip out for a quick splash if you can.
This morning’s reality not withstanding the outlook remains for conditions to be marginal to flat until late in the weekend when the models are continuing to show the prospect of a small south pulse that might deliver us a couple of days of waist to maybe shoulder conditions with light to moderate sideshores.
Have yourself a great day everyone and keep on smilin’!
