Went for a quick wave at the point around 0900. Swell picked up pretty
quickly and by the time I got out there were consistent 2x overhead faces
for the steadily growing crowd. They weren’t all that makeable and the
surface was getting choppier too. As I write this it’s shutting down more
often at the point and the beach is empty because it’s all closeouts all
the time.
