Much smaller than yesterday but waves

Hello Friends,
Partially cloudy skies and a cool light westerly at 0700. Swell’s dropped dramatically overnight, which is in line with expectations. Sets are now in the shoulder plus range and according to the latest from the MHL buoy, swell’s fallen from its 5.2 metre peak yesterday morning to 3.2m this morning. Tide hits a 1.6m high at 0900 and then comes back to the low at 1500. By then the wind should be southerly 15-20 kts.
The southerly wind should slacken off tomorrow, but still be a factor in the middle part of the day. Swell energy levels should stay around the current intensity for the next couple of days but become a bit more easterly. On Friday the Bureau tells us to expect the wind to be more SW early and then drifting southerly in the afternoon.
The weekend and start of next week currently are shaping to be smaller, but definitely not flat. Which is a good thing.
Have yourself a great Wednesday everyone!
