"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Much smaller but clean for Sunday am

Hello Friends,

Swell was SE 1.5 metres at about 9 sec apart when I checked at 0830. Dee Why point was still producing the occasional waist and a bit high set and the beach was delivering waist to shoulder on the biggest sets. Wind was light from the west under scattered high cloud. Surface conditions were lightly textured but the southerly is supposed to arrive eventually, although it’s not set to be much above 10-15 kts. Tide’s dropping to the low at 1040 and will be high again just on sunset.
The Bureau’s modelling shows the swell fading out today and by tomorrow being close to flat. Monday’s shaping to be a write-off surfwise, but by Tuesday afternoon the swell could be back along with strong SW winds. If the long range forecasts have it right, from Wednesday on through next weekend we could be looking at shoulder to head plus give or take as swell swings through the SSE to ESE and keeps on keepin’ on. Weather doesn’t look totally fabulous with it, but apart from a rainy Wednesday maybe, it’s shaping to be partly cloudy with occasional light showers.
Enjoy your Sunday sesh if you can score one and see you again tomorrow!
