You need to be keen Saturday

Hello Friends,

10-15kts of S-SE wind and around 2 metres of 5-8 sec east wind swell hitting the beaches at first light this morning. Saw only three people in the water from North Narra to Dee Why. Two were bobbing around in the junk at Kiddies and one was duck diving little lumps over at the point. Water looked ordinary too. Beachwatch was warning of pollution being possible from Bungan south to Manly. There’s more rain in the forecast, so it’s not likely to improve much.
In case you’re wondering, tide hits a 1.4m high at 0845 and will be back to low at 1420.
The SE wind will blow all day.
Tomorrow should see the wind backing off a little and for the swell conditions to weaken slightly while still coming from the east at about 8 seconds. It’s set to be showery again, but there might possibly be a little window of opportunity in the afternoon.
Next week, according to the models, we’re likely to see weak and tiny conditions until around Friday when there currently seems to be some hope for a slight improvement at SE spots.
Aw well, we’re surfers, we know how it works. There’s always a fair amount of waiting for it to come together.
Go well with your Saturday everyone!
