Yay! Swell’s perked up

Hello Friends,
We’re supposed to have SE wind soon, but as the morning started the breeze was offshore and there was a little swell showing at the point and along the beach. As the pictures show, it wasn’t exactly booming, but given the last week of near flatness, it made a welcome change. The MHL data hwasn’t updated since noon yesterday, so I don’t have any solid numbers for you this morning, but I reckon around 1.5 metres from the SSE at around 10 sec would be close…
Tide is coming into a 1.4m high at 1020 and it’ll be back to a 0.6 low at 1600 – so not really a big swing.
The swell models show this little pulse fading away across the day, but it could still be just into the surfable range tomorrow and maybe Friday. The overall picture on the models is for small to marginal to the weekend then getting really tiny until toward the end of next week.
We’re likely to see more rain periods today but then it should go back to partly cloudy for the weekend.
Have yourself a great Wednesday everyone
