Much smaller

Posted by: on July 28th, 2017

Hello Friends,
Although swell was showing 1.5 metres of 12 sec energy from the SE at 0500 and tide was low at 0600 and is now heading into a high of 1.45m at 1215, Yesterday’s shoulder to head high sets are all gone. Wind was out of the WNW at 5-10 kts just after 0900 and it’s due to pick up and go west to SW by the time high tide arrives. Grabbed a few pics on my Manly run this morning. Curly was bigger than Dee Why but just as lully and inconsistent and generally weak. Dee Why was only just barely into the surfable range.

Fat and tiny little peaks near No Mans

Getting the most out of a tiny peak near the pole at 0900

Not a patch on yesterday at this time when there were 30 people in the water chasing head high plus sets
