Not big but definitely a few waves this morning

Hello Friends,

Good to see some waist to maybe chest high wave faces appearing this morning at Dee Why. The plan is to get down there asap though because the Bureau says the swell will be decreasing across the day. The wind will come around to the NE soon too. Tide was high (1.3 m) at 0645 and is dropping to the low at 1230.
A quick glance at the outlook shows the models generally agreeing that we’re likely to see small to tiny (but not flat) morning sessions between now and next Saturday or so. If the models are right we should see the wind kick in from the SSW overnight on Friday and by Saturday morning be seeing 2+ metres of 10-sec south swell. Beyond that the indications are that the event should decay slowly into the start of next week. Of course these predictions are well into the realms of speculation, so we shall see…
Have a great holiday Monday everyone!
