"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Smoky again and tiny too

Hello Friends,

By 0700 wind was already starting to ramp up. At North Head it was out of the NNE at 9-10 kts. The 0400 data from the MHL buoy was showing 1.2 metres at 6 seconds apart from  the east to ESE. The atmosphere continues very smoky and hazy and the Bureau has posted the following notice about it:

A POOR Air Quality Forecast alert has been issued by the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE) due to elevated Ozone and PM2.5 levels in Sydney for Friday 01 November 2019.

Went for a drive this morning, so I can report that everywhere from Manly to Longy is junky, bumpy, gutless and knee to waist high. There were no stand outs, although I guess you could say Curly seemed to have the edge in terms of ‘size’.
So, not much of a surf day, particularly with the wind forecast…

The astoundingly reliable Goat dropped his week-ahead outlook late yesterday, so as always, I commend it to you!

Have a great Friday everybody.
