"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Smaller, bumpier but not flat

Hello Friends,

As of 0900 the wind hadn’t picked up enough to blow out the corners. Manly to Queenscliff was pretty much missing any swell, but that didn’t deter a reasonable number of hopefuls. There was only a bit more size at Curly however when you watched for awhile it became apparent just why there were only a couple stalwarts in the water at the south end – it was extremely inconsistent. Dee Why had a larger number in the water, but it wasn’t super crowded. Waves looked kinda weak and conditions were starting to lump up. It was too small for the point to have attracted anyone. All the action was in the waist to chest and a bit sets along the beach to about the pole.

Out at sea earlier this morning, the MHL buoy was seeing 2m @ 12s from the dead south, early wind was a light S and tide was coming off the low at 0510, heading back to the high at 1110.

Have a good one!

Fun ones still to be had at Dee Why as of 0900

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over southeast Australia extends a ridge across New South Wales, while a low pressure trough lies off the coast. The high is expected to move over the Tasman Sea later today, but the trough is forecast to linger in the region for the remainder of the week, generating occasional showery periods along the coast.
