"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Pumping and packed

Hello Friends,
Sunny skies, light NNW winds and 1.5m of 9 second east by ESE swell stacking into our beaches. Dee Why was hosting healthy crowds along the beach and at the point for what looked to be pretty consistent chest to head plus waves. Tide was low at 0440 and will hit a fullish 1.7m high at 1110 as we head to a high of 25C today. Apart from the lagoon outlets, water quality should be good all along the beaches with a temp of 19C.
The NE’r should gradually come into play as the morning goes along, so the greatest number of clean surf options will be early.
There might be a wave tomorrow morning, but the Bureau’s hoisted a gale warning for the arrival of a south change in the middle part of what promises to be a cloudy and showery day. The south swell should kick up too and Friday currently is shaping to be south for both wind and swell and partly cloudy.
Your correspondent will be glued to the election news from the old country, hoping that all the polling has been spot on.
Go well, get wet if you can, be kind and have fun!
