Tiny, fat and full early

Hello Friends,Sparkling sunny Sydney morning with a light NNE breezse texturing the ocean. Tide was coming off the 0540 high as the sun peeped over the horizon. Low tide arrives at 1130, by which time the NE’r should be well established and ramping toward 20-25 kts by late afternoon. It should stay sunny all day as we head for a high of 25C. Apart from the lagoons at Northy and Curl Curl, water quality is looking good and Beachwatch says the ocean’s up to 20C now.
Out at sea the swell was coming from the SSE at 13-14 seconds and a metre or so. However, the energy seems to be passing us by, as surf conditions were looking very tiny (ankle to knee with the odd plus).
From tomorrow it seems as though we can expect only short period (7-9 sec) NE wind bump for the rest of the week. So, very summery in that respect.

Go well with your Wednesday

A high pressure system east of Tasmania is extending a ridge north along the New South Wales coast, bringing southeast to northeasterly winds to the region. This system will slowly drift east across the Tasman Sea, to be located near New Zealand by Friday, with coastal winds gradually shifting north to northeasterly. A slow-moving trough of low pressure looks set to bring a southerly change late on Thursday and on Friday.Forecast for Wednesday until midnight
