"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Sunny, clean, fun waist plus

Hello Friends,

Beautiful morning out there. Mild and breezy but offshore under blue skies. And, wonder of wonders, there are waist and a bit waves to be had at places that are focusing 1.7 m 7-8 second south (164°) swell. Dee Why’s south end is mostly in the knee and a bit range, but it should be bigger up the north end at Longy or over the hill at Curly. Water’s cleaned up according to Beachwatch, but it could be suss near the lagoon entrances. Ocean is on 21C and tide hits low at 1005 before coming back into the moderate 1.3 m high at 1605.
You’ll want to get in this morning, because the wind’s due to swing SE this afternoon.
With luck there should be similar surf conditions for tomorrow’s morning session.
Take care, and mask up!

A few hopefuls at the point, but likely to be better up the beach
