Cloudy skies and tiny waves

Hello Friends,

Grey and mild along the beaches this morning with a light NNE breeze. Out at sea the swell was 1.7 metres from the SE at 7 seconds apart. As you can see from the picture, where Dee Why’s concerned that was translating into wind-affected weak, crumbly knee to maybe waist high wave faces. So not flat, but not great either.

The swell models show the energy trickling along at more or less the current intensity through Thursday. It looks as though sometime around late afternoon Friday we could see a new south pulse starting to fill in. Wind looks like being south to maybe SSW on Saturday and then more SW for the morning sessions as we head into the new week. The current long range forecast shows the swell sticking around the 2+ metre range into mid next week.

Have a great Tuesday everyone!
