"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Showery and back to small

Hello Friends,

Managed to grab a few snaps of Dee Why just before a big storm cell hit the Northern Beaches. As you can see, conditions were smooth thanks to a light westerly breeze, but the swell has faded to almost nothing. A couple of weak ones hit the point while I watched, but people along the beach north from there were just sitting around and waiting for what are probably knee to waist-high bomb sets.

The wind is set to swing SE’ly later and the weather will be partly cloudy with the odd passing shower.

Swell was 1.4 metres at 11 seconds from the SSE as of 0740. Tide was low at 0825 and will hit a very modest 1.2 m high at 1425.

I expect the Mighty Goat will be along later with his usual weekend and week-ahead surf call, so be sure to check back for his latest dollop of wisdom.

Go well one and all!
