Surf forecast issued Thursday 13 April 2023: Seven day outlook for Sydney
Current swell on Thursday night is about as dead South as you can get it at 178 degrees, so although it’s nearly 3 metres with a 10 second period most was going straight past points today… That might change tomorrow but there’ll be southerly wind with it. Saturday looks a better prospect for some places with N/NE wind, but smaller surf.
Plenty of stuff around for the kids on school holidays, but tell ’em to be careful and watch out for their mates eh.
Friday: up from today, at say 2-2+ metres South East
Saturday: somehwere in the 1-2 metre range South East
Sunday: ditto but North East
Monday: ditto but East South East (keep up)
Tuesday: ditto East
Wednesday: ditto ditto
Thursday: and ditto ditto.
TG
Up in the Air
A mild Low off the ESE coast, a nasty TC off the NW coast… It’s a Big Country (with a lotta desert in between, which looks set to get some rain). Both TC and L are expected to disappear over coming days…
