Sunny breaks and small waves too

Hello Friends,

Nothing too amazing this morning, but surface conditions were smooth and there were waist-high waves at the point and along the beach. Swell was coming from the S-SSE at close to two metres and with an average period around 10 seconds. Wind was light westerly at 0730, but it’s set to go southerly today before starting to fade by evening. The first tide of the day is a low of 0.52 metres at 0940. It’ll be back to the 1.27m high at 1545. We had 28mm of rain yesterday and overnight, so water quality is likely to be affected. Beachwatch says the Manly stretch likely has some pollution, while most beaches south of Avalon are marked “pollution possible” in this morning’s report.

Wondering about the surf week ahead? Well wonder no longer as the Mighty Goat has cast the runes and examined the entrails for you.
