Friday smaller but fun looking and clean

Hello Friends,

After peaking yesterday morning at 2.8 metres, MHL’s whizzy new web graphics show that it’s down to 1.6 metres off Sydney with an average period of 11 seconds and has swung to the south.
Wind is light WNW as I write this but it’s supposed to be SW late this morning and going along at 15-20kts.
Throw in the sunny skies and you have a brilliant looking morning down at Dee Why with waves in the chest to chest plus range on the bigger ones. It’s a bit smaller and less consistent at the point but there are waves to be had there as well as along the beach.
The MHL Sydney spectral data is showing a combo of S-SSE and NE swells, so there should be more than a few options around the place.
Next tide is the low at 1230.
We haven’t heard from his Goatness yet, so I’m very keen to see what he says because from the models, it looks like surf of one form or another for the next week, with Sunday onward looking rather impressive…
Keep on smilin’ and have yourself a great Friday everyone (and yes, I’ll try to get some more pictures for you later today).
