Sunny & offshore…just one thing Huey…

Hello Friends,

First cool morning we’ve had in some time, and with it, sunny skies and a 10-15kts of W-WSW wind. But, there is one key ingredient missing.

Yep, you guessed it, no real swell to speak of. Yet.

Here’s the view from the crows nest at around 0800

No one seems to be in the water at the Dee Why end of the beach at 0800.

Here’s the Bureau’s call:

The MHL buoy is currently showing the windswell as around a metre and coming from the SSW at about 7 seconds apart.

The period setting isn’t much better, but down toward Eden, the windswell is currently creeping toward the 2 metre mark.

I’m going to run out and have a look around, so more from me later this morning. Go well!
