Nuffink do'ink

Hello Friends,

Only a metre of 5 second period south wind swell showing on the MHL buoy this morning. Dull and drizzly skies complete the less than attractive picture.

Although I really can’t see much of any hope for a wave today, there seems to be a slight possibility of an uptick for tomorrow’s early at east spots.

Also good to see this morning’s swell modelling showing the possibility of a south pulse heading our way around about Saturday and lasting into early next week. Monday in particular is looking interesting for south spots in Sydney. It’s only a prediction at the moment, but it makes a nice change from the dire long term forecasts of recent days.

Go well with your Tuesday everyone!

Weather Situation
A trough of low pressure moving across eastern NSW will bring a south to southwesterly change to the northern coast today. A low pressure system over western Bass Strait is expected to deepen and move slowly east during the next few days, resulting in freshening west to southwesterly winds over the southern and central NSW coasts during Wednesday and Thursday.
