Weak and tiny but maybe possible

Aglow

Arghh

Bondi Junction in heavy land swell

Hello Friends,

Light northerly breeze and a weak but not totally and utterly hopeless little 7-sec period NE wind swell lapping in as Thursday paddled into position. Apart from the lack of real size (think maybe waist plusses on the bombs), Thursday’s 0915 high tide wasn’t helping the morning crew. And, by the time it’s run out enough to give the banks a chance, that summer NE’r should be ramping up to the usual afternoon dose of 15-25 kts.

So, all and all, not too amazing looking, but not completely and utterly without a hope of anything either.

Be interesting to see what the Goat thinks, but I’d say from the look of the models, we’re facing micro conditions from now into early next week. I’m hoping they’re right about it getting into the fun (head high) range late Monday/early Tuesday…

Keep on smilin’, you know it’ll get good again one day!

Weather Situation
A high pressure system remains almost stationary above the Tasman Sea, directing a predominantly east to northeasterly airstream over the New South Wales coast. A low pressure trough is forecast to move across the state during the weekend as the high weakens and loses influence. This will bring a southerly change to the south coast on Saturday, extending northwards through Sunday and Monday. Following this, another high will shift to the Tasman Sea early in the new week, while another trough becomes established over western New South Wales.
