Waves this morning

Hello Friends,

Chilly offshores grooming around 1.5 metres of SE swell as we headed toward high tide at 1140. Swell is still packing a reasonable 11 second period so the bigger sets at Dee Why point around 0730 were shoulder plus high. The Bureau tells us that the wind will be 20-25 kts from the SW, so as long as you don’t mind the cold, there should be options about.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over South Australia is strengthening and moving slowly eastwards, with a small weak trough moving through southern parts of the coast today with winds tending more southwesterly behind it. The high will become slow moving over New South Wales from Tuesday, and will remain the main influence during the week. A trough will form over the state on Friday and generate some more unsettled weather as the high moves away over the Tasman.
