"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Beautiful morning, only one thing missing

Hello Friends,

The quick version: it’s just about flat again.

The longer version: Swell’s less than a metre from the ENE at a gutless 5 seconds apart. You might possibly find a knee to waist high peak if you look around, but I wouldn’t be starting with Dee Why. There was one stalwart that I could see in the water there, but surfing didn’t look like an option. Lovely looking morning though.

The outlook remains, shall we say, uninteresting for the next 48 hours or so. Friday should see the wind go around from the NE to the SE as a small south pulse arrives. Several of the models are projecting the average period to be above the 10-sec mark for 24 hours or so. Average height is predicted to be in the 1.5 metre range. So… maybe some onshore waist to chest stuff Friday arvo and knee to waist plus on Saturday.

Long range modelling continue to indicate that little of the activity in the southern ocean will be coming our way during the first half of April. Boo.

Oh well, such a nice day out, so keep on smilin’ and have a good one!
