Weak, small and bumpy early

Hello Friends,

Kind of as expected this morning. Skies started clearing just before sunrise, but the wind was a steady 7-8 kts from the NNE, so the 1.5 metre 7-second NE wind swell was kind of lumpy and weak looking. Set wave faces would briefly stand up into the shoulder high range at the focal points. There were a few such along the Narrabeen stretch and around at Longy to Dee Why as well. And just to keep things fat, the tide is high at 0920.
Take the mal, egg or something floaty to get the most out of it this morning.
It’s going to be a hot, sunny one today, so slather on the protection and grab your hats.
Tomorrow should see us back to southerly conditions with rain and blasting wind and maybe a scrappy surf option in the protected corners.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system near New Zealand is bringing northerly winds along the New South Wales coast. A cold front is forecast to enter the far South Coast this evening and move across the central and northern parts of the coast on Sunday, with a strong and gusty southerly wind change in the wake, before reaching the far north coast by the end of Sunday and stalling in the region as a trough. Winds will then become east to southeasterly early new week as the trough deepens offshore while a high pressure system over the Bight slips to the south.
