The Goat’s Surf Forecast

The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 20 May 2021: Seven day outlook for Sydney:

Surf outlook

Today was mostly small, but there were some bigger ones breaking at particular places, because longish wave periods meant that pulsating rhythms, which had come a long way, were travelling through the water and built up a bit of powerful momentum, jacking up the wave heights as they encountered Oz~~~~~~~~~~ (or something like that).

The cool air did not deter the keen and those without feeling – a group which did not include me.

So the outlook:

Friday: say somewhere in the 1-2 metre range South East

Saturday: easing back, around 1 ish metres, or possibly more, at dead South spots

Sunday: say somewhere in the lower end of the 1-2 metre range Eastish

Monday: easing back, but let’s say Dittoish… Can you all say that?? All together:.. D

Tuesday: starting to come up into the 1-2 metre range East

Wednesday: then going down in the 1-2 metre range East

Thursday: let’s say Ditto… Di

Wasn’t that fun? … A surf forecast with audience participation.

Stay safe.. whales are starting to come up the coast, along with their camp followers.
