Hello Friends,
Beautiful but an essentially waveless morning at most places. It should start to cloud over before long and then we can expect the odd shower as the wind swings southerly. As the day got started, there was about 1.2 metres of 5-second SW wind bump heading away from the coast. By this evening it should be blasting southerly and chunky-junky.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system lies over Western Australia and a low is positioned off the south coast of New South Wales. The low, and a southerly change, will drive fresh to strong southerly winds across most coastal waters today. Winds should gradually ease on Saturday as the high slowly drifts eastwards across southern Australia during the weekend, before the next front sweeps across the state during the first half of the new week.
