"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Marginal Saturday morning

Hello Friends,

Chilly 8C start for the early risers out looking for a wave at first light this Saturday. Wind was 9-10 kts from the west and out at sea the wave buoy was seeing 2.4 metres of 10-11 second straight south swell. The energy spiked up into the 4 metre range for an hour or so just after midnight, but it’s been fading just as quickly since. First tide of the daylight hours is the 0.6 m low at 1050. Water’s still 20C.

Outlook is for the swell energy to fade across the day and to be back to very small by tomorrow.

So get in if you’re keen!
