Macking swell on a sunny Thursday morning

Hello Friends,

What a morning! Sunny, offshore and consistently head high plus at the point and do-able at Kiddies, but not so much up the beach. Too straight and overwhelming the banks. Being the only spot with quality waves, the point was looking very busy. Tide was low at 0440 and at reporting time was coming into a moderate 1.47 high at 1050. Out at sea the buoys were recording 4 metre swell heights at 13 seconds apart from 174° (S). Ocean temp is 19C according to Beachwatch. We should see a high of 17C along the beaches today.

It being a Thursday, I’m looking forward as always to seeing what the Mighty Goat thinks of the coming week’s surf prospects. It definitely looks like we’ll have juice for a couple of days yet…

Stay safe, get the jab and wear the mask when you’re out!
