Hello Friends,
Bright and partly cloudy skies this morning. Wind was out of the NE at 4-7 kts on its way to 10-15 kts later this afternoon. As you can see from the picture, there were a few hopefuls messing about in the very tiny and weak conditions. I didn’t see anyone catch a wave while I was watching, so I’d call it ankle to maybe knee high. Out at sea the swell was a metre from the SE at about 9 seconds.
The swell models currently are showing a very gradual increase in energy levels, so while today is unlikely to improve and tomorrow may only marginally be better, with any luck Thursday morning might see something into the waist-chest range at east magnets. And right now the predictions look better still for Friday.
So, a day for other things and of course, staying safe behind your N95.
Go well!
