Stormy junky Saturday

Hello Friends,

Not much of a beach day, at least where surfing’s concerned. The SE wind didn’t back off overnight and as of 0700 it was 16-21 kts.  Swell at sea was nearly 3.7 metres at 11 seconds from the SSE but as you can see from the pics, the surface conditions were awful. So, not really worth the bother, even for desperates.

Outlook is for things to remain much as they are through Monday. Thereafter, the more hopeful models are showing SSW wind for Tuesday morning with 2-3 metres of 10-11 second SE swell and then a bit smaller on Wednesday but good windwise for the morning session.

So, here’s hoping.

Have a great Saturday and take the mask when you’re going into public spaces.
