"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Grey, choppy and small

Hello Friends,

Grey skies threatening rain, 12-18 kts of ESE wind and 1.5 metres of 10 second ESE swell do not a pretty picture make. Not a surf day at Dee Why, nor anywhere else along the Sydney region’s coast. The next few days are looking pretty ordinary surfwise but there might be the odd little early session option from Friday onward and early to mid next week actually looks fairly hopeful according to the models.

Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Weather Situation

A strong high pressure system extends a ridge across the eastern parts of the state, bringing light to moderate northeast to southeasterly winds along the coast. Winds will be freshening along the far south coast this evening as a low pressure trough brushes along the southern coast and continues to head north. Winds along the southern and central parts of the coast will be freshening further while tending east to northeasterly over the next couple of days as the trough remains in the region while another trough slowly moves over the western parts of the state.
