Swell in all the south places

Hello Friends,

Offshore breeze and chest-to-shoulder high sets at south magnets under mostly clear skies as Saturday morning kicked off. The open stretches are going to be a challenge again today as the 1.7 metre, 10 sec south swell produces endless shutting down walls. Tide was high at 0600 so the conditions will only get more difficult. It should start to go southerly soon and to cloud over as there is a 90% chance of showers this afternoon. We’re heading to a high of 21 (which is the same as the water).

Tomorrow morning we’ll have an extra hour of daylight as the clocks go back tonight, and right now the forecast is saying that surf and wind conditions for tomorrow morning should be similar to today. The weather will likely be cloudy and showery though.

Beyond that, I’m not seeing much to excite for the front half of the coming week… but maybe by Thursday things could be more interesting.

Go well with your Saturday!
