Hello Friends,
Small group on the point at 0930 where it was glassy and small, but with shoulder high ones turning up every 10-15 minutes; mostly single waves, not sets..
As of 1000 swell was 1.5 metres from the SE at 16 seconds apart – hence the long wait for sets to turn up.
If you found a satisfactory wave today, go back there tomorrow as it curently looks like a rinse-and-repeat on the swell and wind settings.
Tide was low at 0940, will be back to high at 1535.
(below) At Long Reef, way busier, mostly shutting down, but glassy and fun-size
Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea is expected to gradually move east during the week, maintaining a ridge along the New South Wales coast. This pattern will cause winds to turn northeasterly during the day today, and then increase during the week ahead of a cold front bringing a strong and gusty southerly change on Wednesday.
