Hello Friends,
The odd shower rolling through this morning and wind along the coast was generally under 10 kts but from south. Swell has come back up, but it’s nothing like as clean as yesterday. The latest MHL data was showing 2.5 metres of 9-sec SE swell for Sydney. As the pictures show that was delivering shoulder to head plus wave faces at Dee Why point for a reasonable size crowd. The beach appears to be mostly closing out.
The BoM says the swell should stick around and the wind is expected to settle into the SW at 15-20 kts. Tide’ll be low at 1045.
Tomorrow the energy levels are expected to drop but we should still see chest plus at the SE magnets in the morning. Plus, the wind should be offshore and getting weaker as the day goes along.
Longer term the models are pointing toward a steady supply of waist to chest plus swell (and maybe a bit bigger at times) through to next week.
I hope to get out and about with the camera this morning, so check in again later to see if I found anything.
Have a brilliant Wednesday and stay happy!
