"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

TG’s quick forecast

——————————–31/12/2012\Last for 2012…First for 2013.

Happy New Year tomorrow!  Have fun and stay safe tonight.

Small NE today but great in the water and on the beach out of the wind

This week:  Changeable weather = changeable surf

Tuesday: smaller than today around 1 metre of short period NorEast windswell mostly good for getting wet and paddling exercise

Wednesday: coming up from the south but with wind say in the 1-2 metre range at beaches that handle South East

Thursday: 1-2 metres East South East

Friday: back to NE in the 1-2 metre range

Saturday: 1-2 metres East North East

Up on the Goldie and Far North Coast they should get waves from “Severe TC Freda”.

But based on current tracking (and these things can move around) doesn’t look like anything is coming to Sydney…

Even up there the outlook doesn’t appear to be as huge as some of the word on the beach (maybe Tues: 2-3 m, Wed: 3-4 m, Thurs: 2-3 m, Fri: around 2 E/ ENE)

First – New arrival last night – Chloe 8 lbs 6 oz.  Congratulations to Kirstin and Ghaf.  Sister to Jasmine.  Mother and baby both doing fine. Proud grandad.

It’s holiday time…  so forecast is brief…

The southerly yesterday basically just messed the surf up a bit more as well as creating traffic jams form people heading home from the beach… At present 2-4 m at sea dead south but smaller on the beach. Wind is from the south but a light 11kph. High tide around 8:36.

Outlook for tomorrow is similar tending to smaller and with N/NE/NW conditions forecast for Monday and Tuesday with warmer weather it looks like some summer surf is on the way  – which is good.  Good time of year to kick back and relax.

Water temp’s around 20.

Have fun… Enjoy life.
