"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Hello Friends,

Very weak 6 sec period south wind swell being chased ashore by a light SE’r at 1000. Hard to think where you might get a wave worthy of the name. With a high tide due about noon and a forecast calling for occasional drizzle, it’s not really coming together for Sydney today. Judging from the buoy data north and south, the conditions will be broadly similar up and down the coast.

And from this morning’s forecasts, it looks as though it’ll stay pretty much in this sort of zone until maybe Sunday when (maybe) we’ll see some energy out of Freda.

A day of driving east across the baking inland for yours truly.

Go well!

Weather Situation
A high centred near New Zealand extends a ridge over NSW North Coast while a weak southerly change moves through central parts of the coast. The change will continue to move along the coast overnight and reach the Queensland border later on Wednesday. A high pressure located to the west of Tasmania is expected to extend a ridge to southern parts of the coast behind the change. The high is expected to become slow moving over the Tasman Sea by the end of the week with winds gradually turning east to northeasterly and increasing in the south on Friday ahead of the next southerly change. This weak southerly change is likely to dissipate in the south on the weekend with onshore airstream dominating NSW coast.
