Went for a swim at the point this morning to test out Nikon’s new AW1 waterproof camera. Weather conditions were kinda dull unfortunately. But worse, despite the numbers looking the goods, the waves were really pretty ordinary. A few solid overhead sets at the point, but for the most part they were kinda flabby and lumpy and bumpy. Although I spent a good hour swimming around, I really didn’t see much that made me regret not having a board. Here’s hoping tomorrow will be a bit cleaner
