Yep, still flat this morning

Hello Friends,

After a freakish summery Sunday, this morning dawns bright and clear…and cold. As expected, the surf situation is that there is no surf where Dee Why’s concerned. The MHL buoy report from this morning is showing a metre of 5-sec period SSW wind chop offshore. There’s a little hint of 12 sec SSE in the mix, but it’s well below the half-metre mark. Of purely academic interest this morning is the high tide at 1025.

Happily, this morning’s swell models are still predicting a south bump for tomorrow. The Bureau agrees about the uptick and tells us that the wind will be SW under cloudy skies.

Wednesday is shaping to be back to small, but as they’ve been indicating for a few days now, the models are all agreeing that we’re in for a run of 10-11 sec south to SSE swell in the 1.5-2m range through to about Monday.

Have yourself a great Monday one and all!
