Late afternoon update:
Southerly has dropped off inshore and at 1715 was around the 10-15 kt range. Swell was still producing the odd head plus set wave face too. The point looked slightly more reliable than the beachy, but they were both pretty raw and choppy looking.
Bureau tells us that the southerly is expected to be going all night and into tomorrow morning. At the same time, the swell is set to drop. So… maybe not the most hopeful outlook for Monday. Swell’s predicted to be smaller again on Tuesday, but at least the wind might be okay for the early…
