Little waves on a glassy morning

Hello Friends,

A hazy start to the day along the beaches. The Bureau tells us it’ll get to 28 later. Wind was light early and is expected to come up into the 15-20 kt range from the north later in the day. As of 0700 the main swell energy is about a metre and was coming from the SSE at 8 seconds apart. Tide was high at 0810.

Dee Why was showing knee to waist high little waves suitable mainly for mals, SUPs and the like. It wasn’t super crowded either.

Tomorrow looks about the same, but a southerly change should rattle through on Tuesday and that could see swell perk a bit. It’s expected to be cloudy and there’s a 40% chance of showers.

The longer range outlook is for short period mainly south wind swell bumping up and down at the low end of the surfable range.

Have yourself a happy old Sunday everybody!
