Just about flat at the point this morning

Hello Friends,

Swell’s ratcheted down another notch and as of 0600 it was about a metre from the dead south at pretty gutless 7 seconds. Skies were clouding over in preparation for the 90% chance of rain today. Tide’s heading to the low at 0945. Wind was offshore but should be SW later. Swell’s supposed to go more SE later as well.
Outlook is for showery weather through to the end of the week and overall it looks like generally small conditions even at the south magnets. Tomorrow the forecast is calling for SE wind. With luck by Thursday the wind will be SW again and that in combination with the SE direction of the 1.5 metre swell should mean a few waves around the place.
A couple of fresh galleries for you from the last couple of days. And have a great day!

A strengthening high pressure system near Tasmania extends a ridge into New South Wales. This high is expected to move slowly east across the Tasman Sea during the next few days. There are some indications that a weak low pressure system may develop off the New South Wales coast towards the end of the week, although the next significant change is not likely until the weekend.
